This is one of those times when we can’t find the words. How do you say so-long to family? Do you jump out the car like you’ve been kidnapped and yell “holla” or do we have a sing-a-long of “End of the Road”?

Who knew when we started this venture that it would last almost seventeen years. You visited Fontella’s Dreamworld, waited for Redbone to say “zippity do dah”, listened to Sterling shriek “I’m a Regal and I keeps money”, were looking out when Kiana threatened to “tell her daddy”, identified with the southern Pookie, the sultry Nikki, crazy Sarah, down to earth Monie, Dr. Hackett and a number of other characters you felt as though you knew. You loved them and you hated them, but you listened. And for that we will be forever grateful.

By now, you know where this is going. Yes, after almost seventeen years we are shutting down production of It’s Your World. It’s been a blast for us, as well as our talented actors, production staff and hopefully for you the listener.

Long goodbyes still end the same, so perhaps we should end this one by just saying “thanks”, it’s been a blast. We appreciate you, may God Bless You and remember “It’s Your World”.

PS: itsyourworldsoap.com will still be up and running so that we can stay in touch re future developments. We will post new episodes through Friday July 2nd, 2010.

Welcome to the new site! We’re glad you’ve made it. Here are a few things for you, that’ll make your experience all the more enjoyable. If you have any questions, comments, or difficulties, please email the webmaster at TheQuisDaily@gmail.com

1) If you would like to connect with facebook just press “log in” and the facebook connect button will allow you to log in using facebook. Registering with the site will allow us to email you if we have any cool announcements, like new ring tones, or a conference call.

2) To hear episodes you do not need to log in or use facebook. You can listen just as you are.

3) During the course of the day, we’ll be having “Open Threads” where you can discuss the show, politics, sports, or whatever you would like to. Feel free to check back and get your friends involved.

4)Every week we’ll feature different items produced by the writers, producers, or stars of Its Your World. Some of those include “Classic On The Phone with Tirone”, “Moments in Black History”, and “The Bold and The Beautiful Update.”

5) Please feel free to make use of the chat room and forums available on the menu bar at the bottom of your screen. You can also “Like” an episode through there as well. These are all facebook items, so if you don’t like facebook just use the site as usual.
